Tow unit mounted and ready to go

Switching the crown from the bad to the good ( girls to not try and figger what I am talking about ) this was the last item for the 88 Blazer ready to sell ??????>

The other day Susie had me use a apple core gizmo to clean up our apples for a pie etc I figured it would make excellent french fry thingy the cores in the bowl I sliced in 1/2 or 1/4ed

Every thing worked great
Roger and Susie's Travels Today hopefully the last repair work on the 88 blazer this took up most of my day. also the new hitch put on new tow truck

Sept. 24th

He was such a big boob

Roger and Susie's Travels Sorry for being so late on this blog lots has happen sense last posting. but I will try to keep it short. We are getting ready to go south along with every day events. I have been continuing to work on the little 4X4 that I bought it has turned into a night mare but I am getting close to the end and setting up the new tow truck with a tow bar etc. The sad part of this Blog is that we had to put down our cat Toga I won't go into detail but right know I hate veterinarians they are so greedy as you can tell I am very upset. We are starting to load Motor home the only problem with this  Susie when to stop filling ( the closet of course )  she did promise to do better this year. We are again this year bringing stuff for the Isal some clothes some shoes etc this year I am going to throw in a few shoes shirts and pants for men ( it seems to me everybody gives to stuff for women ) this year I will have about 6 to 7 bikes of various sizes. We are getting very excited We really do enjoy our time in Mexico along with all of our new friends ( any of you guys that follow my blog and have tryed to leave a message but failed I have tryed to re set my settings so please try again and let me know if it dose not work and I will try to resolve the problem)

Sept. 16th

Roger and Susie's Travels Well today was cool (I thought I was going to do yard work) but Lynn phoned at 8:30 AM to say her and John wanted to go golfing (Hurray no yard work till latter) We got to the course a little early for John to try out a few new drivers ( big clubs) We had a pretty good day considering we all drank a little to much the night before ( but we survived) the good thing John had one awsume shot with his new driver I am sure it went at least 275 yards I have never shot over 200 yards but I have a excuse I am old. Sorry I never took any pictures I still had to cut the grass when I got home

Shea ( John and Lynn's Daughter) brought us all a bag of Island potatoes her fiance parence own a potato farm in the Parksville area now was that cool
Roger and Susie's Travels Well besides thinking of leaving for Mexico we do have a lot of fun here also. Susie and I golfed with friends John and Lynn Robins from Port Alberni that came our way for a camping weekend along with other friends and family Marg and Fred and John senior along with Jennea which they camped at Samon Point RV on the ocean the golf was great The next day we were invited to dinner at the camp ground for a great Prime Rib dinner ( OH so good) and of course lots of wine Also Shea (John and Lynn's Daughter) came up from Parksville for the day

Roger and Susie's Travels Well here we are again late doing my post as usual the past few weeks have been taken up with my usual golfing working on the new old blazer for resale has turned into a bit of a night mare besides changing the transfer case they had installed the wrong rear differential  did not match the front diff that is what caused all the problems (so whats new ) enough of that problem continued to get thing ready for Mexico etc the last couple of day have been fun we had a visit from friends from Kamloops Verle and Bob Wills the first day we went cruising in the old Chevy and did lunch at our local 100 year old pub then the next day we went site seeing around our area of Campbell River did lunch at April point on Quadra Island Painters Lodge have a little boat to ferry us from Painters Lodge to April Point then home then they were off to head back home

Sept 1st

last day of fishing

brought back home and emptied Whow I though I just put a few things in the boat ????

Sad to see the end of sumer coming

very peacefull on the water crusing fishing moving about 2 miles per hour (also cheap on fuel)
Roger and Susie's Travels Well time to catch up again My mine now is leaning towards Mexico and getting ready for the trip ( I know it is a month and 1/2 away) but I still like to have every thing ready we have changed our tow vehicle again Susie did not like the one I came up with I will show a picture in future posts so now I have to fix the one I got to re sell Oh well that's life pulled the boat out of the marina still not sold tough times for those kind of luxury's
