Oct. 21st on the road again

Roger and Susie's Travels Well arrived in Bakersfield about 6 to seven hrs drive and fuel at Corning was $4.11 per gal a bit tired but went out for dinner at a road house steak house very good, we are parked at a Walmart parking lot and restaurant was about 100 feet from where we parked also in the same area they were having a start up for drag racing in the area so I got to view a few old cars etc the next morning off to Laughlin about a 5 hr drive picked up some fuel along the way just before Barstow only put in a $100 bucks (price $4.11 per gal) I didn't fill up I think I can do a lot better in Arizona before we leave Laughlin area. We arrived at the Avi Rv park at about 2:00 pm we have booked for a week a good rest shopping golfing etc before the next leg to meet Robin and Peggy Tucson area

    Looks like you just getting right along and having fun, should be able to get diesel in Arizona for about $3.60 a gal.

    Sorry to miss you on your way down , we are still in SW Ontario , just had new grand daughter yesterday....thats 2 this fall.....hope to see you in the spring....keep in touch, say hi to Peggy and Robin and everyone there.
