Carnival on sunday parade Mar. 6th



Our local Mexican friends Tallia and mom Diana they are the ones that orginize this event for us which was a success they run a bussiness on Stone Island Deanna does nails etc through the day then the whole familly cooks Mexican food in the evening very good and reasonable Also Tallia gave us lessons taught us Meican words numbers etc the helicopter in the picture above was army or navy flying back an forth

Roger and Susie's Travels Well today was fun day We left Stone island to go to Mazatlan to watch the parade we were on a make shift balcony over looking the parade route,. It cost us 200 pesos each for a open bar and buffet at Hacienda hotel was very good!! We had a great view of parade street action and ocean.. It was over approx. 7:00 pm and lots of people leaving and abunch of us to catch a taxi (pulmnia) to dock to get on a little boat (panga) back to Stone Island!
