While walking around on some of the landings I notice Doug truck parked in the back yard  only problem  this is about 20 ft below the road up front this maybe a challenge to get out of the back yard with out a helicopter ????

On the way home we stopped to see Dougs house being built in Mazatlan Doug is Mikes Nephew pretty awsume 4 different levels he still has quite away to go but wow

Roger and Susie's Travels To days program  meet with a guy to do some fiber glass repairs to our boat that we use in Mazatlan our trailer that we use to move our boat because of the rough roads is has caused the bottom to crack (and we do not want to sink.) Susie and Peggy went to town to do what girls do (nail hair shopping ????) Robin and I made a trip into Mazatlan via his jeep for material (at Home depot) to build him at set of stairs Of course we need to do lunch (what better place then the fat Fish restaraunt) on the way home we stopped at Astra del mar golf and country club to set a tee time for golf tomorrow life is good

Roger and Susie's Travels Well what has happen today still unloading stuff and setting up. Susie and had a Massage to day from Our regular guy from last year (was that great) I was all stiff from the tention of driving down this year so a few more times I will be great and of course we all have happy hour to top the day off sorry about the videos of the rodeo but I guess the file is to big so I will see if I have a few still pic,s of the rodeo

Roger and Susie's Travels Well what has happen today still unloading stuff and setting up. Roger and Susie's Travels Well today was a big day for Stone Island. They had a big prade plus all kinds of circus rides etc for the kids then they had a rodeo at about 4:30 it was quite a experence lots of fun

Roger and Susie's Travels Well slowly getting settled in I had my first big seaesta today. Susie has been doing the beach every day along with the rest of the campers. Each day I get a little more stuff out. Looking forward to next week I will start golfing again ( this is turning into one of my passions ) We had happy hour here today every body rotates every thing is good.

Roger and Susie's Travels As you already know we are here at Stone Island will take a few days before we get settled in but feels great have been in the ocean it is like pea soup (grrrreat)

Roger and Susie's Travels While at Lazy days in Tucon Tim and Cherl arrived lots of laughs that evening. The next day Robin & Peggy and our selves left to stay the next night at a Walmart in Nogales close to the boarder. The next morning we crossed into Mexico our first stop San Carlos (took about 2 hours to get through mile 21) Mexican visiters visa and vehicle permits etc. We stayed a extra day in San Carlos to wait for Tim Cherl & Paul The next day we all headed  out in pairs and met at Los Moches  We herd from the last group to get to Stone Island that they had a close call with a bandito on the road off the high way towards the air port (A bandito with a mask and a gun came up onto the road every body drove like hell and foiled his robbery attempt but he did shoot off his gun in the air) So after leaving Los Moches on our last leg of the trip we call ahead to let king David ( the Park owner ) when we would arrive on the highway to the air port (4 rigs all together) and he set up a police escort for us to take us into Stone Island (How cool was that) We all arrived safe and sound and glad to be finally here sorry about spelling my spell check wants to change every thing into spanish

Oct 30th Lazy day RV site Tucon

Roger and Susie's Travels Well after leaving Avi Friday we landed at a Walmart in Phoenix area thinking we would stay over night (no go) so we left there and headed to Mesa camping world it was dark and the traffic was bruttle (not good) but arrived with out any problems (thank heaven for the Garmin GPS) the next day we went shopping Costco and 99 cent store then headed off to Lazy days RV park Tucon to meet up with Peggy and Robin got there had a beer then we all went to do a hot tub (was that ever great at getting rid of the driving stress) My shoulder has been bothering me this trip I think it is due from being up tight driving but that will get curred when we hit Mexico and relax. Expecting Tim and Sherl to arrived today Sunday then its happy hour

Roger and Susie's Travels Well the last couple of days Susie has done some shopping ( little gambling ???) I should mention Susie has been catching up on Laundry etc. Me relax some golfing nothing to special. I did have to get a RV repair guy out things were not working properly on furnace air condition etc (not to happy after all the work had been done on the coach already) but turned out to something as simple as resetting the control panel so now I have learned to do that ( I some times think I will die before I learn everything HA HA ) last couple of nights instead of going to the casino to eat there so called cheap buffets. We have barbecue at our site turned out great best food sense we left home Steaks one night and tonight Half Chicken MMM good and of course lots of wine

Roger and Susie's Travels We pulled into the Avi casino resort yesterday afternoon and booked a week to relax for a while ($139.00 for the week) did a little gambling buffet for 2 for one deal got the car washed and cleaned. this morning got up early and went golfing Desert lake resort and country club Special on called weekend warriors 18 holes for 19 bucks includes cart I shot 102 still trying to improve but feeling better. Got home and Susie has went shopping We pickup lots of stuff for Mexico dog and cat food etc and I will pick up some booze of course  going golfing again on Tues day afternoon from 3:00 on till dusk 18 bucks for 18 hole with cart I didn;t get many pic,c today will get some on Tuesday
