The new temp tow car

Pretty decent shape for a 1988 tires over 80% worth more then I paid for the truck
Roger and Susie's Travels Yesterday 30th (good news) I gave Stuart the day off /Launched the boat for a month of fishing and cruising in the marina /got the little tow car towed in to the garage for hydraulic clutch assessment for repairs (bad news) the tow car assessment is over $2000.00 not happening towed back home on the 31st for me to deal with at a latter date. July 31st (good news) I went and did nine holes of golf to take my mind off the dilemma (good news) on the way home I came across a temp vehicle to take the place of our little tow car till I can fix it myself not as pretty and a few running gear noises but nothing I can't deal with. The price was right $400 cash 1988 Blazer S10 4x4 with tires worth more then the truck (good news) Stuart got picked up by Tracy,s friend Leah for a few days of fun with her family and friends They will be doing a lot of trail bike riding etc will be cool for Stuart

Susie flowers and baskets

The cat is fasinated by the fish

condo deck not that big about 80 sq ft altogether

sanding a floor skin from the boat cabin it has got a teck finish on 1/4 inch plywood

Hard to tell from the picture but it came up pretty good with the teck oil
Roger and Susie's Travels Back to the salt mines no golf today Maintanence our condo in Campbell River the strata has decieded that the owners need to redo there own decks to make it pleaseing to the eye so off I go with my sander in tow Also I needed to check the little tow car it seemed to need a wheel balancing $500 bucks plus latter Yikes the two back tires wetre completely wore out down to the steel tread showing what a shock about 20,000 miles what happen too the 40,000 miles we usually get besides a few stablizing bar rubber to change I am thinking it must be from me over loading the car when we are traveling south and back again oh well ??? back to the deck I spent about 3hr sanding (not a very big deck) a few areas to complete tomorrow then stain which they supply not sure may take two coats not to bad first time doing this we have owned sence 1994

Monday 9th 012

This boat needs major cleaning in the cabin

Oh Oh some dry rot  (actually wet and cannot breath commanlly found in houses ) found in the cabin floor and  can be fixed caught in time but disapointment ( alot of extra work )

It will look better when I am finished

We have 2 of these old mike cans used as planters

All that is missing is the John deer decal

Roger and Susie's Travels Today not quite as exciting I did get up a 5:30 and I did go golfing but no surprises today came home had a nap in the man cave then went about business a usual got into the boat project only to find extra work ( a boat at this age early eighty's can be expected  ) also working on an old project that Susie finally convinced me to start these are things you normally do in the winter but what can I say we are in Mexico
