My buddy on his electric bike I am walking behind him home from the pub can,t afford an impaired other wise no Mexico that would be devastating  Susie has not mastered the driving of the motor home
Roger and Susie's Travels The fisherman's club Skins is the club that I joined last year in our area of Black Creek Last year when I joined my first game my score for 18 holes was approx 144 give or take ( every was very polite but ??) after that nobody was impressed. then off to Mexico I played at Elstra Del Mar still working on my game back home. Back to the locals but it still took a while to get their respect the courses are a lot more narrow and challenging then Mexico but by the middle of the season I managed to bring my score below 110 for 18 holes which was about 30 strokes off of last year. Today we played our last game of the season called the north west ( to complicated to explain ) we all put in 40 bucks and compete for the prize money. Well at the end of the day I won 150 bucks the best part They gave me there trophy for the most improved player of the year the most important part was I got the respect of the hole group of players (that's big for me) a good day

My friend Hal

Hals big catch
Roger and Susie's Travels Well in the past few weeks lots of stuff has happened. What with the motor home being constantly at the repair shop. no sooner finished the final repairs from the power problem from Mexico. ( it does look like King David insurance company is going to cover the repairs but no check as of yet ) Then the fridge lets go (this was rebuilt last year under warranty (but the guy has gone out of business) thank heaven the insurance company has covered the new repairs. next thing too do is new tires for the motor home well I decided to go with tires of the same quality and size but cheaper but we had a problem with balancing ( I won't go into detail but it was a all day process to get it right but finally did) In between all this nonsense I have been spending time trying to finally sort out the crawl space (this is all the stuff that we did not have time to sort out mic stuff over the years plus all business records both business and personal) I have hauled about 6 boxes to recycling plus I have a least 5 to 7 boxes to go to the shredder at $7.00 per box. on the bright side I have been doing better at golf and loving it. Today My friend (Hal)and I went out fishing Hal caught a salmon about 5 to 6 lbs 2 ' long ?? I did get a bite but no luck (good relaxing day) On the way home I did get stopped in a road block (thank heaven I was okay????) (Imagine me with no licence and Susie driving the motor home to Mexico?????) they let me through. This is happening in our local area because of the tourist campers in our local area ( this very sad but necessary????)

rogers Last Skins game

Roger and Susie's Travels Well today was pretty exciting for me (with the club that I joined last year called Fishermen Lodge Skins Club) We had our official last game of the season.this was held at the very prestige's golf club in Courtney called Croune Isle ( this is on the same level as Estra Del Mar in Mazatlan) I had my best day golfing so far I had a score of 104 for 18 holes got 2 skins and 1 birdy. We do have 1 more contest to end the season called the north/south competition we all put in $40 bucks and golf for various prize money (to long of a prosess to explain). But last year being a poor golfer I still won a $160 bucks  ??????

Taking Stuart to Victoria air port to fly home to Grand Prairie on July 28th (why Victoria better connection no layovers) (Along the way we stopped at restaurant on the Malhat Hwy nice view but pricey) we camped at walmart the first night next day we found a camp site closer to air port called Beach Combers on the ocean kid friendly just 110 plug ins and no sewer hook up but dumping station $42.00 bucks per night (a little pricey for what you get) Next morning took Stuart to air port after that we decided to stay at the Walmart one more night Susie went to the casino and I went Mechosen golf course and did 9 holes nice little course very tough greens all sloping badly then back home.

Roger and Susie's Travels Well onthi the way out of Black Creek  to Victoria to take Stuart for his trip home to Grand Prairie ( you say why Victoria  simple we did not want long lay overs ) We did pick him up from Tracy friend  in the Nanimo area because they were biking the local area. On to Victoria stayed at Walmart the first night but along the way We stopped on the Malahat hwy at a restaurant we have always pasted before (a little pricey but great view etc very nice) Then the next day we stayed at Beach comers in the Sidney area very family oriented but cool right on the ocean. then the next morning Stuart had to fly out. We left the camp site that day not knowing what to do so we went to the Walmart again  Susie checked out the local casino and I went to a local golf course in Machosen (a local golf course in the area) then the next day home. from there I have been to  another car show ( no pic,s camera dead ) then back to the norm.
