July 30th & 31st

Roger and Susie's Travels Thursday we headed home from Victoria parked the motor home and vegitated (relaxed) unhooked the tow car and found a hydraulic brake line leak (thank god it did not happen in victoria) any way just another mechanic job for me to change the line. Friday We went to browns bay to have happy hour with friends from Kamloops great time drank to much wine as usaual ( no pic,s forgot camera) Saturday Went golfing with friends had a great time (slowly getting better). Built ramp in garage to put car up high enough to get under to fix brake line

July 26 to 29th

Roger and Susie's Travels we headed down to Victoria for a few days before we put Stuart on a plane out of Victoria ( less lay overs then out of Comox) We booked in at Pedder Bay Marine and RV sites (owned by the Oak Bay Group) ver nice pretty new they are still working on lots of things. We did a day trip into Victoria and did the under water fish zoo. Then did the parlament building etc. on the 29th took Stuart to the plane and hugged him good bye. He is now safe at home in Grand Prarie with his Mother Tracy . Now We need to creat a new adventure which won't be to hard

July 26th and 27th

Roger and Susie's Travels Well we are at the end of Stuarts holidays we headed for Victoria to spend a couple of days before Stuarts flys out of Victoria to Grand Prarie on Thurday 28th. We have stopped at Pedder bay RV & Marine park (owned by Oak Bay Group) booked for 2 days $55 per night veiw or Marina and ocean (okay I guess) we spent the day in Victoria doing the under water sea world and parliment buildings etc. We have to get up at 5:00am to be on time for his Plane departure.

July 23RD to 25TH

Roger and Susie's Travels Well this past few days I have a few things going on Friday 23rd I had a day to myself went to the golf driving range and praticed. I have my second golfing with local club I joined ( our local pub called the fishermans Lodge )Also because we live in a resort area surrounded by camp grounds etc. We get a lot of people going for a walk in our area from their camp sites. I was out side along with my old car (1948 Chev Fleetline) getting ready for car show on Sunday plus other things When this fellow walks up and says I like your car and I said Thank you. He then says I know you you are Roger LaRose and I look at him with Suprize (about to say who are you) I am Bob Wills the last time I seen him was in 2003 (big shock because I did not recognise him must be the hat and dark glasses) the long and short we latter had a good vist at the camp site ( we have known each other for over forty years (working in the same industry civil construction etc) Saturday 24TH Susie took Stuart to the beach in our area (5 minute walk) They were having Skim board competions on our beach (getting pretty popular) Me I went to my golf game I did better then the first game I went to. But a big improvement in 18 holes I got one birdy and one par ( I got 124 for 18 holes big improvement from the first game (which I will not tell you what that was) most of the guys are in the 80,s so you know that I will be praticing for a while yet. Sunday 25TH Stuart and I got up early to head for the car show in Courtney (1/2 hour drive) Friends of our from Port Alberni also entered their car fairly new Ford Shelby. So we went together (we were already preregistered) Arrived at 7:30 AM and Stuart and I started cleaning and polishing Stuart did the glass and cromb wheels etc and I did the rest of the bodySusie and John Robbins sienoir met us about 10:00 am and spent the day with us all did'nt win any prizes but had a good time. July 21st to July 22nd

Roger and Susie's Travels Stuart and I did 9 holes of golf at our local golf course again ( still practicing) getting better slowly.

July 16TH to the 20TH Stuarts holidays

Roger and Susie's Travels Sence picking up Stuart on Friday He has been to car races with myself and John Robbins Sienor. Went on gocart ride with Stuart myself Fred Bates (friend from Nanimo) and his grand children Nicol and Cameron (from Alberta) (good fun)They were camping for the weekend at Pacific playgrounds (local Camp site) fishing out in the ocean With Stuart myself and Uncle Andy from Port Alberni (caught a link cod )

July 9TH to the 16TH Stuarts holidays

Roger and Susie's Travels We have been busy with Stuarts activities Stuart and I have continued doing the golf driving range we also did 9 holes of golf with friends Lynn and John Robbins (did okay) Susie and I dropped Stuart off at Roberts lake for a week long kids camp he was there from Sunday till the following Friday. He had a wonderfull time.

July 5th to July 8th

Roger and Susie's Travels well the past few days 5Th to the 7Th Stu. and I have gone to the golf driving range (getting better????) Susie set up a tee time for Stuart and my self to golf at Stories creek golf course tee time 10:30 AM (we did 9 holes) We golfed with a local couple they were very polite. ( I am sure they were glad we only did 9 holes) July 8Th Betty and Cliff (sister and brother in law from Port Alberni) came for a visit to see us and Stuart. Brought us 4 sockeye salmon we had a great visit went to the beach for walk and collected sand dollars etc Had Lunch etc in the afternoon I took the fish to a place to have them Smoked then off to work on my boat (you also note that my sister knitted a sweater for Sara she didn't mine it on but it is for cold weather)
